Graphics and Audio

For a coop horror, this game’s graphics effectively create a dreary environment, with dimly lit corridors and unsettling details that keep us on edge.

The audio design complements this with eerie ambient sounds, distant whispers, and ominous footsteps of the pursuing doctor, enhancing the apprehension.

Performance and Technical Aspects

“Final Exit” as a coop horror runs smoothly on systems meeting the minimum requirements:

  • OS: Windows 10 (64bit)
  • Processor: 2.5GHz or better (x86-64)
  • Memory: 4 GB RAM
  • Graphics: Nvidia GTX 650, Radeon Vega 7, or better
  • Storage: 5 GB available space

However, some gamers have mention occasional issues, such as clipping issues and enemy AI pathfinding errors. For example, the doctor may walk into an asset for a bit before moving, which can momentarily disrupt immersion.

Length and Replayability

The game’s length is moderate, offering several hours of gameplay due to some replayability to obtain achievements or spot all secret encounters. While the initial playthrough in this coop horror provides a gripping experience, replayability is somewhat limited.

The enemy patterns can get predictable at times and randomized elements could make the hidden object hunt much more engaging. However, attempting different strategies and playing with friends can offer some variation.

Closing Thoughts

“Final Exit” delivers a chilling coop horror experience that thrives on team gameplay and environmental tension. While it has areas that could benefit from refinement, such as AI behavior and adding story depth, it remains a commendable entry in the indie horror genre.

For those seeking a suspenseful, fun, and at times amusing adventure with friends, “Final Exit” is worth exploring. Just be prepared for a few bumps, and jumps, along the way.
